TUBING! And a fun Saturday night...

So I don't have any of my own pictures, but we went tubing down the Provo river this saturday with Josh Ammons, and Ben and Shelley Onofrio. It was about 100 degrees so it was a ton of fun even though the water was a little chilly!

After tubing we went to dinner with Kali and JT and then rode bikes in crazy wind and pouring rain. We played games afterwards, later joined by the Onofrios again. The night ended up with a run to Costa Vida at 10pm, an empty pan of rice krispies and a crazy game of Munchkin with everyone yelling at JT because he was about to win. Kali was pissed because he wasn't letting her win, Benji wanted him to win because it was 1am and he was tired, and I wanted him to let me help him so we would both win. He was a little overwhelmed, but it was funny and JT actually won, good job :)

Happy Pioneer Day

(and Wally's Birthday) We rode our bikes with JT and Kali to the store to get fireworks yesterday. Then we made italian sodas and cookies and played games. When it got dark we went into the street and lit fireworks to celebrate.

We didn't spend much time on the blanket, but here we are with JT and Kali :)

I'm lighting what I believe to be my first firework ever. They are illegal in CO and I was 6 when we left CA. I was really excited

JT is making a small bomb in this picture. He is definitely a pyro, but Kali isn't too happy about that, haha.

This was our finale firework. The picture didn't turn out as good as it really was.

Kali and I with sparklers. She has a picture of us making the first letter of our name with the sparklers, I'll post that later.

SWIMMING...

...with the cutest girl in the world! Yesterday Josh and I got to go swimming with sweet baby Sadie for an hour and a half. Every minute was fun and entertaining because of how much she loves the water. She spends lots of time at the pool and already knows how to dive, jump, do a cannon ball, and my favorite..belly flop. And yes, she does belly flops on purpose and thinks its funny. We are going to miss this girl so much when we move!!

Sadie loves to look under the water so we would put the goggles on and go under the water and she would put her head in and look at us. The cutest part is seeing her just look at you with eyes wide open and a huge smile on her face.

She also LOVES to be thrown in the pool. She just goes down in the water and comes up smiling and ready for more. If you tell her to dunk you she pushes down on your head until you go under the water, she thinks its so funny.

Here comes the two-year-old olympic swimmer people!

Fun Times w/ the Fam

Every year Josh's family has a reunion up at Lake Almanor in Cali. We got home Sunday from our apartment hunting and left Monday from work to fly out to CA. It was a great week of relaxation and family fun after a stressful weekend previously!

Here is the beach area where we lay out all day in the sun and swim around when we get hot
Thanks to Aunt Wendy and Uncle Kurt, who have six children, there are lots of floatation devices and toys! This is most of the cousins just coming in from floating around the lake.

Joshie landing a great jump on the wakeboard!

I tried to wakeboard, lets just say I'm not very athletic with water sports...I had a great time trying though :)

"Adult Night Out" was filled with us and lots of fogeys at the local bowling alley. We had two teams and ours won. I'm pretty sure it was because of my awesome bowling skills. My favorite part of this picture is Mike in the back putting up his finger, ha.

I'm showing off my amazing bowling muscles

Pinatas are a Green tradition and every year the boys and girls get their own pinata to hit. You get to hit in order of age, youngest to oldest. The girls pinata didn't quite make it to me, dangit.

Another tradition is water balloon launching. Some cousins launch and others get baseball bats and mitts at the other end and try to catch/hit the balloons.

After we got back from the lake we had a few days for playing so we went four-wheeling at Prairie city. It was awesome!

Our NEW Home...

Spokane, WA here we come. We will be moving to WA on August 16th so Joshua can attend law school at Gonzaga University. We took a trip there to find an apartment and check out the school.

We also played mini-golf to relax after three days of non-stop looking for apartments!

23rd Birthday

Joshua had a party for me on my actual birthday in UT. We first went out to the melting pot for dinner with one of our good friends Josh Ammons. Then we came home and had some friends over for cake and ice cream. He got me a brand new pink crusier bike. I have rode it every day since I got it and I absolutely love it! It even has a bell on it, thanks to Jenn :) Thank you Joshie for a great brithday!

My new bike. I haven't named it yet, any ideas?!

Josh made my favorite cake, ball cake, double layer and everything! I was very impressed

At the Melting Pot, yum!

The Thriller-moves

During the Rockies baseball game they like to play part of the Thriller song and every time they did Dad couldn't resist doing the Thriller dance. This is a perfect moment caught on tape of how great, and funny, my dad is. Notice he has the rally cap on and everything!

Our new and improved technology!

Joshie got his new laptop for law school, thank you to G-ma and his parents! We got the money for graduation but we were waiting for the laptop sales to come and they finally did over the holiday weekend. We were in CO when we got it, so my dad was ecstatic just to have a new piece of electronic equipment in the house! We love it and have spent hours already just fiddling around with it. Yay for awesome technology :)

The All American 4th of July

Josh and I took a little vacation to CO and spent a few days with the rents. It was a great weekend!
On the third of July we went to a baseball game, ate Rockie-dogs, lots of junk food, and watched fireworks afterwards!
The Rockies tied in the 9th inning and so dad decided to put his "rally cap" on to help them win. It apparently helped because they pulled ahead in the 11th inning and won!

On the 4th we went and watched fireworks in Highlands Ranch. Jenn and Jeff Clark came with us and we rode in the back of the truck to our fireworks-watching-spot.
Louie was freaked out and shaking the whole time during the fireworks. Josh tried to comfort him by putting the blanket on him. Poor puppy hated every minute of it!! He sure looks cute though :)

A cute picture of my two loves that I snagged at my parents house...

Since my birthday is on July 8th we had a mini birthday party at home with cake and presents. Josh bought me a brand new CoolPix digital camera and mom got me a new outfit (see Rockies game picture) Jenn and Jeff now live in CO and came over to celebrate.

The Hick Show, I mean Rodeo

Lehi Round-up Rodeo! My FIRST one ever. We tried to put together rodeo attire, but it didn't work out that well! We had a good time though with our friends JT and Kali :)

San Fran

Josh and I went on a trip to San Fran with our friends Benjamin and Shelly to relax and enjoy our summer! Here are some pics from our funness

Golden Gate Bridge with the typical SF fog
Cool SF architecture

We went to dinner at the Fairmont hotel at the Tonga room. It had a live band and it had a pool-type thing they floated out on, and it rained!! Very cool AND yummy.

We walked and walked and walked some more. Here is one of many hills we went up and down on high heels on the way to union square and dinner.

Green street!! This is right on the pier, what a perfect place for OUR street!

The city of love! (and lots of rainbow flags...)
