July 24th

For July 24th, we went over to a park in West Jordan and did some of the carnival stuff, and then stayed for the fireworks. The kids loved it

Since the 24th was on a Thursday, we decided to celebrate the 25th also with some of our own fireworks in the cul-de-sac. We invited some neighbors, and the Sohm's came down to join us.

Baby Maisy is Born

After a few stressful days on not knowing if Maisy was going to be ours (the Dad was trying to get custody) we finally got her and she is ours. She was born July 17th but because of complications with the birth Mother and her request to having Maisy with her they had to wait several days before they got to take her home. But boy were we all glad to have her with us and was such a blessing.

We went to visit just after they got her home. These two are almost exactly 2 months apart. Maisy being a girl and newborn made Rockwell look huge! We laughed about it a lot, and loved seeing the comparison.

The cousins minus Mac, because he was tired and being a stink, ha

Lake Almanor

This was such a bittersweet year at Almanor. We were so excited to go, but knew it would be our last year. Grandpa and Grandpa are getting older (Grandpa is getting more sick with his disease) so they said this would be our last year.

Long drive over, but this happy guy was still content and happy as usual.

Grandma making the famous Snoopy waffles

Rock was only 2 months old, so he made it a whole 10 minutes down and the beach and then got tired, haha. He was still too young to be in the sun, and the water was cold, so he was stuck in the carseat

Mac and Gpa on the mattress, a Almanor favorite to float around the swimming area

Mac playing catch with Calvin. These two are close in age and were cute playing together

We had a great week at Almanor, and made many memories as usual.

Free Slurpee Day

We are lucky to have a 7-11 within walking distance of our new house. We have walked over several times on hot days to cool off with a slurpee. Every July 11th, (7-11) its free slurpee day. So of course we had to go. The kids loved it

Poor Rock is still too small for slurpees but I put mine in his seat on the way home and he gave this cute face like he was mad that he couldn't have some. Maybe next summer Rockwell...

4th of July

Our first ward activity that we attended in the new ward (Country Crossing 11th) was the 4th of July breakfast. The kids had a bike parade so we decked them out and went over to the church.

After the breakfast and bike parade we headed up to spend the day with Gma and Gpa.

Throwing water balloons up as high as they can

One of Mac's favorite things is to play in the garage with Grandpa. Every time they go out they have a routine of things they do, one of them being sitting on the motorcycle. Mac had just pushed the button to start it and Mac gave this cute surprised face.

Rock chillin with Dad in the house, not even 2 months old yet.
