Alright, so who is a lost fan out there?! Last night was the season finale and it was SO good. They finally started answering some questions for once, that was nice and very rare. Josh and I absolutely love this show and are hooked. It was more fun to watch the first 3 seasons in about a week and a half and spend every minute of our lives glued to the tv, but I guess I'm getting used to waiting a week in between every episode now, kind of. So why do you think Locke is dead and everyone has to go back to the island?! Any thoughts?

3-Day Weekend! (Actually 5 for us)
We took work off on Thursday and Friday to start off our weekend so we were excited to leave the office and spend some time in the outdoors. We went camping near Bryce Canyon with our friends Russ and Mary. I know Mary from school, she was in my elem. education cohort at UVSC. Here are some pictures from our "adventure"
We were supposed to go camping Thursday-Sunday, but as you can see the weather wasn't in our favor and we only spent one night there after we went through 6 bundles of wood and our tent collapsed Friday morning...
Here is Josh, me and Mary being silly. In the back is our little tarp set-up for our food and wood to be covered from the weather.
Russ and Mary :)

Here we are hudling in front of the fire. We promply ate dinner, had smores and then got in the tent hoping for warmth. Although cold, we had a great time with the Nelson's!
After we came home from camping we still found fun things to do for the weekend!
We spent Saturday at Thanksgiving Point starting with a picnic and then walking around the gardens. We also did this with the Nelson's, even though there are no pics of them!

Very cool fountain and pretty flowers!
Our friend Josh Ammons is living in Ogden for the summer for an internship so he came down to spend a few days with us. We went to Cascade GC and played a little pee-wee golf.
I'm happy to say that we played two rounds, Josh G. winning the first one, and me winning the second one. I got FOUR hole-in-one's!! I'm pro, I know.
We had a family BBQ on Monday at Uncle Cliff's house. Uncle John and the fam were in town from NYC. Here is Tara, John and Joshua.
Lots of family was there at the BBQ. Here is Wally, Lindz, Cliff, Sandra, John and Penny.
Jennifer, Abby, and Travis
Grandma and I
Monday evening we hung out with Jenn and Jeff Clark. We went to Trafalga and played. Here I am at the batting cages.
Even though the track was only a circle we had a ton of fun playing around with the go-carts.
WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!! THANKS TO FAMILY AND GREAT FRIENDS :)

Trying Something New!

Josh and I have been taking scuba diving lessons. We have had two classroom lessons and we had two lessons in a pool. Last night was our second pool lesson and was so much fun! We are hoping for Christmas we will be able to go with Josh's family to Mexico and use our new skills. The rest of his family are all certified already, which was one motivating factor for us. So we are excited for our new adventure in scuba diving and having fun looking ridiculous together. No pictures of us yet, but if I dare to put them up later I will. Scuba gear isn't very flattering to say the least.

The Coolest Neighbors
The sad day came when our first and best neighbors moved away. Kailee, Eric and baby Brody moved back to AZ to move into a real house and get a job. Only three more years until we get to do that! We miss you Andersen's. :) Most of all we miss the late-night games and treats. I think we all gained weight from all the treats we ate together. We also miss coming over to borrow stuff instead of actually going to the store! Thanks for being such awesome friends and neighbors :)

GRADUATION!
Josh and I both graduated on April 25th. He graduated in English from BYU and I graduated in Elementary Education from UVSC. It was fun to graduate on the same day as your spouse! It worked out that we got to go to my graduation in the morning, have a huge picnic with all the fam that was in town, and then go to Josh's in the evening. Our next step is law school in August. We are going to Gonzaga. WA here we come!

The Lit Conference
Josh wrote a short story and submitted it to a writing conference through BYU and they selected his story. This was a great accomplishment for him as the writing conference consisted of universities from all over the United States. It was held at Weber State up near Ogden, UT. Josh got to read his story at the conference and his aunt Wendy, who writes for the local newspaper, wrote an article about the conference. It was fun to read her article and see information about Josh in it. Yea for Josh! :)
