Mother's Day

Spring is upon us. We decided to go to Manito park, our favorite here in Spokane, to see the blooms for Mother's Day. Then was church, called the mom's, talked to Davis on his mission, and had friends over for a goodbye dinner to the Day's and Barney's who will be gone on internships for the summer.

The picture above and below is from our neighborhood walk the other day, just awesome trees blooming right now.

Happy Mother's Day to both my mother and Josh's mother. We are so blessed to have such great mom's who love and sacrifice so much for us. We are thankful in our prayers each night for you both for raising the spouse that we love. We are happy to see you both soon!

Official WA Residents

So I went from CO plates to UT a few years ago, and so the only thing that proved I wasn't a Utahan was my CO plates. I was pretty sad to turn over the plates of my home town and become an official UT resident. Now UT wasn't so bad as this weekend we had to switch to WA. I'm still not sure on my feelings on calling WA home. I am sure on my feelings of happiness and joy as Thursday will be our official end of the first year of law school, WOOHOO!

Another Apron!

Love the pink! The back is lined with the light pink also.

Little Bit of Action at Work

Came back from work today with the road blocked off. Just to the right of that car is the exit of North Wall Schools. Apparently there was a 4-car crash while I was gone. The director of the school called 911, screaming and cussing from the victims was heard by the children who were outside at the time, jaws of life was used, news people were there. Needless to say there was some buzz around the school for several hours. It was great fun. For some odd reason I am attracted to destruction and near death experiences, but only if its other people involved. I was in heaven and couldn't stop watching out the window.

Random Note: Josh did a little service for a young women in the ward and participated in her blood drive for her personal progress. Two days later his arm looks like this. Ew.

Spring is finally here

Last week, snow. This week, 70s and 80s. Had to take advantage of it, because you never know if the snow will return soon.

Flying kites in the park.

Picnic at riverfront park.

Random guy at the park who was doing this move for like 15 minutes straight. We thought it was funny. Also saw a 60 year old with Jnco shorts, a walker, and holding a huge snake. I should have took a picture.

Egg dying party on Friday.

New Hair

While in CO my sister-in-law Lindsey cut and highlighted my hair. It was needed so bad and I am so lucky that she is willing to do my hair and is so great at it! Thanks Lindz :)

Conference

Watched it. Loved it. On Sunday we watched the first session at home, went to the Day's and ate lunch/played guitar hero for the break, then watched the last session at the Harris'. It was a good day.

Colorado

Had a great time in CO last week during my spring break. Flew in on mom's bday and when we got home Wally and fam were there already. I loved seeing everyone together on a time that wasn't a holiday. Sadie was as cute as ever, she is always talking and says funny things all the time.

Happy Bday Mom!

The girls (me, mom, lindz, sadie) went to the Children's Museum

We also went to the car show. Wally always went with dad when he was younger, he left on his mission and I got to go with dad. This time we all went together.

Truck I want to test drive:
