It was a hot Monday afternoon and we wanted to escape to the mountains for a little bit of FHE and some cooler weather. I heard about this little lake just about 20 minutes from our house so we went to check it out.
We had a picnic for dinner
Then walked around this beauty. It was a really short easy walk that even Lyla could do by herself so it was perfect for our little outing
McKay loved being outside as usual
Lyla just couldn't help herself and had to venture off the path for some exploring
Even got to throw some rocks
I love that we can go from hot sunny SLC to shady cool beautiful mountains in just 20 minutes. One of the many perks of living in Utah. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful scenery and just relaxing together in the outdoors
